Jack Goldasich of Birmingham claimed the 21st Alabama State Match Play Championship title, winning 2 & 1 against Austin Sparks of Red Bay in the Final Round.
Steven Hudson of Birmingham claimed the 2nd Alabama State Senior Match Play Championship title, after the match was conceded by runner-up Claud Cooper on #13 in the Final Round. Hudson was 1 up thru #12 at the time of concession.
The morning began with the Semifinals for both Championships.
In the Match Play Semifinals, Jack Goldasich defeated Dylan Moncus of Alexander City 2 up.
Austin Sparks defeated Ross Napier of Hartselle 5 & 3.
In the Senior Match Play Semifinals, Steven Hudson defeated Patrick Drummond of Birmingham 20 holes.
Claud Cooper advanced, defeating Chris Hummel of Birmingham 4 & 2.

About the Alabama Golf Association (AGA)
The Alabama Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization founded in 1915 whose mission is to serve and promote amateur golf in Alabama. AGA membership consists of over 115 member clubs represented by over 24,000 individuals. The activities and services of the Alabama Golf Association are governed by a Board of Directors consisting of Alabama golfers who wish to serve the game and the association through service.

Since 1980, the AGA has managed the affairs of the Southern Golf Association which includes conducting the Southern Amateur Championship and Southern Junior Championship, in conjunction with the Board of Directors of the Southern Golf Association.
