AGA Junior Girls All-State Teams
Girls First Team:
Scarlett Schremmer, 2025, of Birmingham is a senior in high school who is home-schooled. A standout on the national stage, Scarlett qualified for the Round of 16 in both the U.S. Women’s Amateur and U. S. Girls’ Junior Championships. A member of the inaugural United States National Developmental Team, Schremmer also qualified for match play in the 122nd Women’s North & South Amateur. Scarlett finished tied-sixth in the 109th Southwestern Amateur and won The Dye Junior Invitational. Schremmer is the number one ranked junior in Alabama and the 2024 Alabama Girls Junior Player of the Year.
Klare Jamison, 2027, of Huntsville is a sophomore at Grissom High School. Klare garnered a second-place finish at the 61st Alabama Girls State Junior Championship with two sub-par rounds over 54-holes. In addition, Jamison earned four top five finishes in AJGA events, including a victory at the TaylorMade Preview at Bentwater Yacht & Country Club in Texas. In SJGT and HJGT events, Klare had three additional runner-up finishes and finished 2nd in the AHSAA 7A State Championships as an individual. Klare also helped pace Alabama to victory in the Southern Junior Cup in August.
Frances Brown, 2025, of Mobile is a senior at UMS-Wright Preparatory School. Frances won the 61st Alabama Girls State Junior Championship with rounds of 69-67-67 to earn an exemption into the U. S. Girls’ Junior in California and qualified for match play in the inaugural Alabama Women’s State Match Play Championship. Brown defended her AHSAA 7A Girls State Championship individual title and led her squad to team victory. Frances won the Tommy Moore Memorial at TPC Louisiana and is a verbal commit to Auburn University.
Anna Christian Beeker, 2027, of Tuscaloosa is a sophomore at Tuscaloosa Academy. Beeker earned a place in the semifinals in the inaugural Alabama Women’s State Match Play Championship and placed tied-ninth in the 61st Alabama Girls State Junior Championship. Within the calendar year, Anna Christian competed twice on the professional Epson Tour at the Tuscaloosa Toyota Classic, making the cut once, and won the AJGA’s Visit Tuscaloosa Junior Championship. Beeker garnered three other top nine finishes in AJGA events and eighth place at the SJGT Magnolia Grove Junior Classic.
Molly Brown Davidson, 2024, of Springville is a graduate of St. Clair County Virtual Prep Academy. Davidson emerged victorious in the 72-hole Women’s Dixie Amateur with scores of 74-74-68-72 in December. Molly Brown also finished T-23 at the World Junior Girls Golf Championship at Brampton Golf Club (Ontario, Canada) and paced Team United States to a fifth-place finish in the team competition. Davidson is a freshman on the golf team at the University of Alabama.
Girls Second Team:
Julie Waldo, 2026, of Prattville is a junior at Alabama Christian Academy. Julie finished tied-fourth in the 92nd Alabama Women’s State Amateur Championship with scores of 75-71-75 at Anniston Country Club and fifth in the 61st Alabama Girls State Junior Championship. Waldo also garnered victories at the Junior Golf Alabama Kickoff, the 52nd Annual Pigeon Dove Junior, and won the individual AHSAA 1A-3A State Championship title. Julie represented Team Alabama in the Southern Junior Cup, and helped lead the team to its eighth consecutive victory.
Christine Chang, 2024, of Auburn is a graduate of Lee Scott Academy. Christine qualified for the Round of 32 at the U. S. Girls’ Junior Championship and finished fourth in the 61st Alabama Girls State Junior Championship with scores of 72-72-75. Christine is a freshman on the golf team at Columbia University in New York.
Courtney Grace, 2030, of Birmingham is a homeschooled student through Alabama Connections Academy. Courtney earned a third-place finish in the 5th Alabama State 13 & Under Junior Championship and finished tied-seventh in the 61st Alabama Girls State Junior Championship. Grace garnered victories in five Birmingham Golf Association events, including the BGA Junior Championship, and five top twenty-five finishes with the AJGA. Courtney helped lead Alabama to victory in the Southern Junior Cup for the eighth consecutive time.
Polly Kate McCrackin, 2025, of Hoover is a senior at Hayden High School. McCrackin finished tied-eighth in the 92nd Alabama Women’s State Amateur Championship and qualified for the Quarterfinals in the inaugural Alabama Women’s State Match Play Championship. Polly Kate also finished tied-ninth in the 61st Alabama Girls State Junior Championship. McCrackin won the individual AHSAA 4A-5A State Championship title and represented Team Alabama in the Southern Junior Cup.
Katelyn Foster, 2024, of Mobile is a graduate of Baker High School. Katelyn finished tied-seventh in the 61st Alabama Girls State Junior Championship, advanced to match play in the inaugural Alabama Women’s State Match Play Championships and finished T-27 in the 92nd Alabama Women’s State Amateur Championship. Foster earned six top ten finishes in Junior Golf Alabama and SJGT events. A representative of Team Alabama in the 2024 Southern Junior Cup, Katelyn is a freshman on the golf team at the University of South Alabama.
Girls Third Team:
Kate Ha, 2026, of Auburn is a junior at Auburn High School. Ha shot 76-67-73 to finish third in the 61st Alabama Girls State Junior Championship and qualified for the U. S. Girls’ Junior Championship in California. Kate played in seven AJGA events highlighted by a fifth place finish at the Huntsville Junior and tied-twelfth at the Junior at Canebrake.
Evelyn Tankersley, 2025, of Montgomery is a senior at Alabama Christian Academy and committed to Troy University. Tankersley methodically worked her way through the field to earn Finalist honors in the inaugural Alabama Women’s State Match Play Championship. In addition, Evelyn finished T-17 at the 92nd Alabama Women’s State Amateur Championship and T-24 at the 61st Alabama Girls State Junior Championship. Tankersley won the Holiday Junior Classic at Pine Tree Country Club and had eight additional top seventeen finishes in AJGA, SJGT, and AJGO events.
Esha Gupta, 2025, of Auburn is a senior at Auburn High School and verbally committed to Georgia State University. Following AJGO victories at Arrowhead and Grand National, Esha finished tied-ninth at the 61st Alabama State Girls Junior Championship and tied-fourth at the Alabama PGA Junior Championship. Top eleven finishes with the AJGA at the Huntsville Junior (T-11) and Atlanta Classic (T-10) added to Gupta’s playing resume, which also showed four top seven finishes with the SJGT.
Chloe Ruble, 2024, of Athens is a graduate of Lindsey Lane High School. A Quarterfinalist at the inaugural Alabama Women’s State Match Play Championship, Ruble finished T-14 at the 61st Alabama Girls State Junior Championship and earned a 26th place finish in the 92nd Alabama Women’s State Amateur Championship. Play on the SJGT resulted in one victory (2023 University of Georgia Invitational) and three other top seven finishes. Chloe is a freshman on the golf team for the University of Alabama at Birmingham after representing Alabama in the 2024 Southern Junior Cup.
Shiloh Gilbert, 2027, of Millbrook is a sophomore at Ezekiel Academy. Shiloh earned a sixteenth-place finish in the 92nd Alabama Women’s State Amateur and a sixth-place finish at the 61st Alabama Girls State Junior Championship. Victories at the Junior Golf Tour Final presented by Smylie Kaufman and AJGO’s Capital Hill and Notah Begay Qualifier solidified Gilbert’s standing.
